Catalina Island - Scout camp "08

Nicholas spent a week at BSA Emerald Bay scout camp. His gear must have weighted 50 pounds, which he had to carry 1/2 mile to his camp site. He attended a rugged adventure, mountain biked over 50 miles, hiked and went skin diving. Had a great week. Spend a couple nights camping on the beach.

Cowboys spring training '07

We had an opportunity to attend a Cowboys summer training in San Antonio - Megan got Tony Roma's autograph. She thinks he's really cute!

Great seafood

If you are ever in Newport Beach, this place has great seafood,and burgers too. Eaten there twice. Great both times.

California Dreaming '08

Julie and I were lucky enough to spend a couple nights at the Hyatt - Huntington Beach this June (anniversary). We stayed here two nights prior to picking Nicholas up from a week of Scout camp at Catalina Island. This is a view of the beach from our room. Yes, the ocean is that blue stuff of in the distance. We enjoyed our stay.
